Nicole est heureuse de vous accueillir dans sa maison. Celle-ci a été construite en 1966 par l’architecte Petit avec un grand sens de l’harmonie. Les espaces sont larges, pratiques mais surtout intelligemment conçus. La zone jour est dirigée vers le Sud et vers le jardin, et il y a deux zones nuit, une à l’étage et une à droite du living. Vous serez aussi étonnés de voir l’étendue insoupçonnée du jardin de Nicole….
Nicole Bailleul, devant sa toile encore blanche, n’a pas envie d’ être rationnelle, ni de copier fidèlement , ni d’ être dans la réalité. Elle pense à Giocometti qui disait : " C’est comme si la vérité se trouvait derrière des rideaux que l’on arrache …puis il y a encore une vérité…et toujours une autre…C’est une recherche sans fin. " Ses tableaux suggestifs et intrigants sont à la limite du figuratif et de l’abstraction, on pourrait dire qu’on est entre la méditation et le rêve.
Sandrine Bouleau a d’abord travaillé le tissu, puis elle est devenue sculpteur par passion, la terre et le bronze sont devenus ses compagnons d’expérimentation. Apprendre, découvrir au contact de la matière. Et se rapprocher de l’abstraction. Elle vous séduira par sa sensibilité pour approcher la fabuleuse mécanique débordante d’émotions, qu’est le corps humain.

Nicole vindt het fijn u in haar huis te mogen verwelkomen. Het huis, gebouwd in 1966 door de architect Pierre Petit, getuigt van een harmonieuze architectuur. De vertrekken zijn ruim, praktisch maar vooral ingenieus ontworpen. De leefruimte is naar het zuiden en naar de tuin gericht. Er zijn twee nachtruimtes, eentje op de verdieping en eentje rechts van de living. Bovendien zal u versteld staan van de onvermoede afmetingen van Nicole’s tuin…
Voor haar nog maagdelijk doek heeft Nicole Bailleul geen zin om rationeel te zijn, noch om getrouw te kopiëren, noch om in de werkelijkheid te staan. Ze denkt aan Giocometti die zei: ” Het is alsof de waarheid zich achter de afgerukte gordijnen bevindt, …vervolgens is er nog een waarheid… en telkens weer een andere… Het is een eindeloze zoektocht." Haar suggestieve en intrigerende schilderijen bevinden zich op de rand van het figuratieve en het abstracte. Men kan ook zeggen dat men zich bevindt tussen meditatie en droom.
