Marianne et François vous accueillent dans cette maison remarquable de l’ avenue. Vous serez séduits par ses châssis authentiques, son toit pointu, le fait que c’est une quatre façades. L’ intérieur est tout aussi charmant et il a gardé un maximum d’ éléments d’ origine : portes, serrures, vitraux ... Cette maison est nouvelle dans le Parcours et n'a jamais été ouverte au public.
Jean-François Meur est passionné par la ville, son architecture, son fonctionnement et surtout les fractures sociales qui la caractérisent tant. Battant les pavés, armé de son atelier portatif, l’artiste trouve les sujets qui nourrissent son inspiration, travaillant souvent sur le motif, en hiver au pastel et à l’acrylique, en été à l’huile. Lors de cette recherche artistique, il a aussi découvert la dimension humaine de la ville, qui a donné naissance à quelques fresques sur des murs de Bruxelles

Marianne en François vinden het fijn u in hun, voor de straat, merkwaardig huis te verwelkomen. U zal vast en zeker bekoord worden door het oorspronkelijke raamwerk, het puntdak, het feit dat het een viergevelvilla is. Het interieur is al even charmant en een maximaal aantal originele onderdelen bleven bewaard: deuren, sloten, de glas-in-loodramen… Dit huis is nieuw in het Parcours en werd nog nooit opengesteld voor het publiek.

en vooral de sociale verschillen die haar kenmerken. De straten afschuimend, gewapend met zijn draagbaar atelier, vindt de artiest de thema’s die zijn inspiratie voeden. Hij werkt vaak aan het motief, in de winter met pastel en acrylverf, in de zomer met olieverf. Tijdens deze artistieke zoektocht, ontdekte hij tevens een stad op mensenmaat. Dit gaf geboorte aan enkele fresco’s op de Brusselse muren.

Marianne and François welcome you to their remarkable home. You will be enchanted by the authentic door and window frames, pointed roof, and the fact that it is quite detached. The interior is equally charming and has retained a maximum of original features: doors, locks, windows, etc. This house is new to the Art Trail and has never been open to the public.
