Patricia et Alec sont heureux de vous ouvrir leur maison. Vous aurez peine à croire que ce fut un petit bungalow, construit en 1948. Deux rénovations successives l’ont transformé en une maison ouverte sur le jardin et sur la lumière, avec des volumes intéressants et très originaux. C’est ainsi que peu de maison ont encore un grand hall d’entrée, une pièce qui signe l’accueil chaleureux qu‘ils vous réservent.
Les toiles de Denis Crutzen sont colorées, inspirées, enrichies de formes qui nous évoquent on ne sait quoi et nous invitent au rêve. Il s’exprime aussi bien sur des toiles grandes que petites, ce qui est rare. Avec une solide formation académique (il enseigne), Denis Crutzen construit sa toile progressivement, par couches successives; les transparences font frémir. En 2011, « La Libre » l’avait sélectionné parmi les 10 meilleurs jeunes artistes du royaume. Vous vous perdrez dans sa peinture comme dans un aria de Mozart…

Patricia en Alec vinden het fijn u in hun huis te mogen verwelkomen. U zal zich moeilijk kunnen inbeelden dat dit een kleine bungalow was uit 1948. Middels twee opeenvolgende renovaties werd het huis naar de tuin en het licht georiënteerd en werden interessante en zeer originele volumes gecreëerd. Weinig huizen beschikken tegenwoordig nog over een grote inkomhall, een plaats die hun warm onthaal onderschrijft.
De doeken van Denis Cutzen zijn kleurig, bevlogen en verrijkt met vormen die bij ons onbekende dingen oproepen en ons tot dromen aanzetten. Zelden gezien dat iemand zich zowel op grote als op kleine doeken kan uitdrukken. Denis Crutzen heeft een stevige academische vorming (hij geeft les). Geleidelijk aan construeert hij zijn doek door opeenvolgende lagen aan te brengen; de transparantie is beangstigend. In 2011 selecteerde “La Libre” hem als behorend tot de 10 beste jonge artiesten van het land. U zal doordrongen worden van zijn schilderkunst zoals u opgaat in een aria van Mozart.

Patricia and Alec are pleased to open their house. It is hard to imagine that this was a small bungalow built in 1948. Two successive renovations have transformed it into a house open to the garden and to light, with very original and interesting spaces. Few houses still boast an entrance hall, where the couple will be waiting to give you a warm welcome.
Denis Crutzen’s canvasses are colourful, inspired, rich in shapes that evoke – who knows what? and invite us to dream. He is as expressive on the large scale as well as the small, which is rare. With a solid academic background (he is a teacher), Denis Crutzen builds his paintings progressively, in successive layers; the effects are startling. In 2001 “La Libre Belgique” selected him as one of the ten best young artists in the country. Looking at one of his paintings is like losing yourself in a Mozart aria.
